Cover Supervisor – PE Cover

Location: Birmingham, B19

Start Date: September (new academic year)

Day Rate: £95 to £100 per day

A secondary school in the B19 area of Birmingham is looking for a Cover Supervisor to deliver PE lessons to Year 10 classes (approx. 24 pupils per class) on a supply basis from September. The school has a 'Good' Ofsted rating and a committed SLT. This role is available due to long-term sickness within the PE department. We’re onboarding candidates in May to ensure smooth September placements.

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver pre-set PE lessons
• Manage pupil behaviour and maintain engagement during activities
• Report back to teaching staff with any issues or progress
• Ensure a safe and structured learning environment
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with young people in a school or coaching setting
• Confident in managing behaviour and leading classes
• Available for supply from September
• Comfortable covering physical education lessons and maintaining safety standards
