Toolmaker - #1726170

An established engineering company based in Birmingham requires an experienced toolmaker.

Duties:

• Manufacturing, assembling, and repairing precision tools used in the production process, both Single Op and Progression.
• Working from technical drawings and using a variety of machinery to produce high-quality components.
• Inspecting and testing completed tools to ensure quality standards.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience as a toolmaker, ideally within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment with both Single Op and Progression tooling.
• Knowledge of machining processes, including milling, grinding, turning, and EDM.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC programming an advantage.

Hours:

• 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12.30pm Friday.
• Overtime may be available.

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
