Client Network Group is recruiting a Business Development Graduate for its Birmingham team. This full-time, permanent opportunity provides structured training across business development, client engagement, account management and commercial strategy.

You will gain practical experience while working alongside managers who have developed through the same internal progression route.

What you will learn

Your training will introduce you to the different areas involved in building and expanding a successful business, including:

• Business development and commercial growth
• Client relationship management and account support
• Customer engagement and campaign performance
• Market research and opportunity identification
• Operations and project coordination
• Performance tracking and reporting
• Negotiation and stakeholder communication
• Leadership development and team support

You will learn how businesses identify opportunities, maintain strong client partnerships and make decisions using customer feedback and performance information.

Your contribution

As your knowledge develops, you will begin supporting live business development activity. This may include:

• Building professional relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Supporting client campaigns and commercial objectives
• Gathering market feedback and identifying useful insights
• Maintaining accurate activity and performance records
• Contributing ideas during campaign and business reviews
• Coordinating agreed actions across different areas of the team
• Supporting newer team members once you are ready

Responsibility increases according to your performance, reliability and ability to apply feedback.

Who we are looking for

This opportunity is suitable for graduates who completed their degree within the past three years and can begin immediately or within four weeks.

You should be:

• Interested in business, entrepreneurship or commercial strategy
• Confident communicating with different people
• Motivated to develop into leadership or client management
• Organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
• Open to coaching and accountable for your progress

A specific degree subject is not required. We are more interested in your ambition, communication skills and willingness to learn.
