Multi skilled electrician - #2174416

Ivy Facility Maintenance Ltd is looking for an experienced and fully qualified Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join our growing team.

We are seeking someone who is confident carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, fault finding and repairs, but who is also capable of undertaking general building maintenance tasks across multiple trades.

The successful candidate will work across a variety of commercial, retail, hospitality and residential properties, completing both reactive maintenance and planned works.

Key Responsibilities

* Electrical fault finding, repairs and installations.

* Lighting repairs, replacements and upgrades.

* Emergency lighting maintenance and testing.

* Electrical testing, inspection and certification.

* General plumbing repairs, including taps, toilets, leaks and waste systems.

* Basic carpentry and joinery, including doors, locks, hinges and ironmongery.

* Painting, decorating and minor plastering repairs.

* General building fabric maintenance.

* Reactive maintenance callouts and planned maintenance works.

* Completing job reports, photographs and relevant documentation.

* Working independently and ensuring all works are completed to a high standard.

Essential Qualifications

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification.

* City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification or recognised equivalent.

* AM2 assessment or equivalent evidence of occupational competence.

* ECS Gold Card (Installation or Maintenance Electrician).

* Full UK driving licence.

Essential Experience

* Proven experience working as a qualified electrician.

* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

* Experience carrying out general building maintenance across multiple trades.

* Competent in basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating.

* Experience working within commercial or retail environments.

* Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads.

* Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients.
