Procurement Lead - #2174436

As Procurement Lead you will lead a team and oversee strategic procurement activity across a portfolio of packages and categories. You will:

• Lead and develop procurement and sourcing professionals.
• Develop and deliver strategic sourcing and category plans.
• Manage procurement across multiple areas of spend.
• Lead tenders, RFPs and supplier selection processes.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
• Negotiate commercial contracts and framework agreements.
• Drive value, supplier performance and procurement innovation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong strategic procurement, sourcing or category management experience.
• Proven team leadership and people development skills.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure or similarly complex project environments is a pre-requisite.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management capability.
• Good knowledge of contracts and supply chain markets with NEC experience essential.
