Lead Digital Analyst
Predominantly remote - Birmingham/London (1x day per quarter)

An opportunity to take ownership of digital measurement strategy in a highly visible role spanning analytics, technology and business decision-making. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise, defining how digital performance is measured while influencing stakeholders and developing analytics capability.

The Role
As Digital Analytics Lead, you will:
  • Lead measurement strategy across websites, campaigns, digital products and customer journeys.
  • Translate business objectives into measurement frameworks, KPI structures and actionable analytical questions.
  • Design tracking strategies, event taxonomies, data layer requirements and reporting specifications.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across GA4, Google Tag Manager, BigQuery and browser DevTools.
  • Work with developers, agencies, product, BI and data teams to embed measurement throughout digital delivery.
  • Lead analytics governance, consent management and data quality practices.
  • Investigate tracking and data quality issues and ensure analytics solutions remain scalable and privacy conscious.
  • Turn complex digital data into recommendations that influence priorities and improve performance.
  • Manage and develop a digital analytics specialist while acting as a trusted analytics partner to senior stakeholders.
Your Skills & Experience
You will need:
  • Strong commercial experience leading digital measurement strategy and designing analytics solutions.
  • Hands-on expertise with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including data layers, event design, tracking implementation, QA and troubleshooting.
  • Experience turning business challenges into measurement frameworks, KPIs and analytics requirements.
  • Knowledge of BigQuery and how measurement supports downstream data models, BI and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of analytics governance, GDPR, PECR, cookie consent and privacy-conscious measurement.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, agencies, product teams, marketers and data specialists.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with SQL, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, JavaScript, product analytics or advanced consent management would be beneficial.
What They Offer
