About the RoleITS Construction is advertising this role on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking construction organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, cost-effective and innovative solutions across a range of sectors.

Our client is seeking a Site Project Coordinator (SPC) to take a lead role in planning and delivering multiple site-based construction projects. This position will play a vital part in bridging the gap between design, planning, and delivery – coordinating contractors, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site professional with strong leadership, planning and communication skills, and a deep understanding of project lifecycles from pre-construction through to commissioning and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordination, planning, and execution of site-based projects.

  • Work closely with the Remote Project Manager (RPM), engineering consultants, and client-side teams to ensure project alignment and communication.

  • Lead construction readiness reviews, resource planning, and constructability assessments.

  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

  • Manage weekly on-site meetings to report on progress, QA/QC status, HSSE, costs, and changes.

  • Support the development of project execution plans, permit strategies, and commissioning transitions.

  • Ensure inspection and test plans (ITPs) are prepared, approved, and followed.

  • Coordinate with contractors and client operations teams to deliver works efficiently and effectively.

  • Support technical queries, risk management, and close-out documentation including MOC and performance testing.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • HND or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • SMSTS certification (essential).

  • Valid CSCS card (Supervisor or Manager level).

  • First Aid at Work (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a site-based coordination or management role.

  • Strong background in construction delivery, ideally within complex industrial or infrastructure environments.

  • Experience liaising with contractors, project managers, and operational teams.

  • Involvement in all stages of the project lifecycle – from design to commissioning.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Confident communicator with excellent coordination and leadership abilities.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and QA/QC processes.

  • Competent in project control principles including scheduling, cost control, and progress tracking.

  • Capable of interpreting technical drawings and resolving site queries.

  • Proficient in planning software and Microsoft Office tools.

What’s on Offer

  • Opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering technically challenging and rewarding projects.

  • Long-term contract potential with a strong pipeline of work.

  • Supportive working environment with a focus on quality, safety, and innovation.

  • Competitive rates and professional development opportunities.
