Role Purpose:


We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Dispatcher to ensure the efficient allocation of engineering resources, meeting customer expectations in a timely and cost-effective manner.


You will manage both planned and unplanned work, ensuring all tasks are prioritised, assigned, and completed effectively while maintaining excellent communication with internal and external customers.


Key Responsibilities:


Log and handle customer calls efficiently, adhering to agreed procedures.


Build strong relationships with customers, engineers, and colleagues.


Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their work.


Allocate and monitor incoming work (planned and unplanned).


Manage VOR trucks and escalate issues as needed.


Coordinate with Area Service Managers for absence and absence planning.


Process and verify engineers' timesheets for accuracy and productivity.


Ensure correct charging of customer work and clean error logs.


Participate in team and Area Service Manager meetings.


Monitor engineers' performance and escalate concerns when necessary.


Procure engineers' tools and materials as needed.


Perform additional duties assigned by the Customer Service Manager.


Role Requirements:


Strong experience in planning, scheduling, or dispatching.


Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


Excellent communication skills at all levels.


IT literacy.


Experience in a service-related industry is desirable.


Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
