Are you an experienced IT Procurement professional looking to take the next step in your career within a growing and ambitious organisation?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Procurement Manager to join a dynamic Group Procurement function within a fast-growing, acquisitive business. This is a broad and impactful role, working closely with senior stakeholders across the UK and Nordics, supporting strategic procurement activities and helping to drive value across the IT category—particularly software.
This is a hybrid position offering remote working as standard, with occasional travel to regional offices across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Group IT Business Partner and Head of Procurement to deliver on IT sourcing needs.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business priorities.
- Develop and maintain an IT Procurement Forward Plan to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes: requirement analysis, market research, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting.
- Support on larger strategic projects, including analytics and project coordination.
- Manage IT contracts, including renewals and documentation within the contract management database.
- Oversee supplier performance and compliance with ISO27001 vendor risk management standards.
- Contribute to the development of supplier management practices and ESG initiatives within the supply chain.
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in IT procurement/category management (software focus highly desirable).
- MCIPS qualified or working towards (preferred).
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently while collaborating with wider teams.
- Effective project and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
