You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders—including HMG departments, telecoms operators, academia (schools and universities), vendors, communities of interest, and future UKTL customers. Your work will help grow UKTL’s awareness, capability, and impact on the wider telecoms industry.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for driving strategy and delivering key milestones for the mobilisation of the Insights and Innovation Building.
    • Ensure the building is equipped to host high-level conferences, roundtable discussions, and workshops focused on telecoms security and future technology trends.
    • Lead the development and delivery of a relevant, timely event series that promotes collaboration and stimulates forward-thinking within the telecoms security community.
    • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams—and external agencies—to raise the profile of UKTL through effective visibility and engagement strategies.
    • Oversee a centralised schedule, admissions process, and portfolio (catalogue) for all activities within the Innovation Building.
    • Drive the development of telecoms security skills across the UK by making resources available to UKTL stakeholders, including operators, vendors, Government, and academic institutions.
    • Support market diversification by lowering testing and security barriers for new entrants—offering access to facilities that enable research and product development.
    • Proactively engage with external stakeholders and identify new outreach opportunities that support UKTL’s strategic goals.
    • Create and maintain accurate documentation and reporting for senior leadership and the UKTL Board on stakeholder engagement activities.
    • Assess and prioritise key stakeholders, events, and budgets to ensure strategic and effective use of resources.
    • Manage a small, high performing team focused on customer service and impact.
    • Ensure all activities are delivered in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, maintaining a culture of care and responsibility.
