We are seeking an Engineering Manager with hospitality experience to join our Management Team.
With a preventative planned maintenance schedule in place you will be responsible for repair of all guest rooms, public and service areas of the hotel, so they are well maintained at all times. You will regularly inspect the entire building with particular attention to defective or deficient life safety features and observe closely the condition of all operating equipment.

You’ll be a very good communicator, able to communicate at all levels, including with contractors; being tough when you need to be. With smart appearance, an inquisitive nature and the desire to achieve the best; you will be a good problem solver.
Ideally with an engineering degree or similar, with a bias towards mechanical or electrical. You will already be an Engineering Manager or strong Assistant (or equivalent) with facility management experience in a luxury hotel, hospital environment or similar. We are seeking an Engineering Manager with hospitality experience to join our Management Team.
With a preventative planned maintenance schedule in place you will be responsible for repair of all guest rooms, public and service areas of the hotel, so they are well maintained at all times. You Will
- Prioritise fire, life and safety at all times, ensuring systems are operational. With a particular regard for health and safety management.
- Maintain equipment, the building and grounds in good operational condition, with particular focus on energy conservation and minimisation of waste, compliant at all times with local regulations and Hyatt standards.
- Manage your budget, ensuring maximum optimisation of our resources versus cost, making certain we comply with all local regulations and codes as applicable.
- Build strong connections between Maintenance and Operations teams.
- Lead all engineering activities within the hotel.
- Collaborate with Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
- Develop a strategic team focused on efficiency and exceeding customer expectations.
