Operations Analyst - #2189023

Insight Global are seeking an Operations Analyst to join a leading global investment bank and financial institution in Birmingham.

This position requires 5 days onsite per week in Birmingham, UK for a 12-month contract (Inside IR35).

Overview:

The Operations Analyst will join a team responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and processing netting and collateral enforceability data across financial and trading documentation. The role focuses on accurately analysing contractual and regulatory information, mapping key data points, supporting system inputs, and identifying required compliance actions.

This is a detail-focused role suited to someone who is analytical, methodical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The successful candidate will use established playbooks and guidance to interpret complex contractual and regulatory concepts and ensure documentation is processed accurately and consistently.

Must-Have Requirements Include:

• Professional experience within operations support, financial operations, or a related environment.
• Previous experience reviewing and interpreting legal or contractual documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong process discipline.
• Strong analytical skills, including reviewing data and identifying potential risks or required actions.
• Ability to learn complex concepts quickly and apply structured guidance accurately.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume and time-sensitive environment.
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively in a process-driven environment.

• Exposure to derivatives operations.
