Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious) - #2186610

We are working with a leading national law firm based in Birmingham for an Associate to join their Non-Contentious Construction team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Construction team, advising developers, contractors, consultants and other commercial clients on a broad range of construction and engineering matters, with a primary focus on non-contentious work.

The role will involve advising on construction contracts, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements and risk allocation across a variety of building and engineering projects. The successful candidate will also provide specialist construction advice to other practice areas, including Professional Indemnity.

Essential Criteria:

• 1+ years’ PQE;
• Strong construction law background;
• Background in non-contentious construction law desirable;
• Excellent academics;
• Interpersonal skills;
• Strong drafting abilities;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
