Katie Bard (Angela Mortimer Plc)

Marketing & Events Executive - Hybrid - Birmingham

We are partnering with a well-established, market-leading and award winning organisation to appoint a Marketing & Events Coordinator for a newly created role in their growing events team.

This is a predominantly events-focused role, with approximately 70% of your time dedicated to event delivery. Regular travel is essential. If you thrive on being out of the office, on the stand and in front of people, this role offers exceptional variety: from large-scale trade shows and webinars through to private corporate hospitality.

Reporting to the Marketing & Events Manager, you will play a key part in delivering events that generate real business results, working closely with Sales, Content and Communications, and external partners.

You will:

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of events, from trade shows and conferences to corporate hospitality and webinars
  • Manage pre-event logistics, including invitations, registrations, confirmations and reminders
  • Promote events across email and social media channels
  • Prepare briefing packs for the sales team and coordinate post-event follow-up to ensure leads are captured and actioned
  • Take a hands-on role on site, including stand set-up and breakdown, and represent the business confidently to attendees
  • Act as day-to-day contact for partners, media and professional bodies on event promotion and co-marketing
  • Work with the content team to integrate thought leadership, speaker opportunities and panel discussions into events
  • Track event performance and engagement through HubSpot, reporting insights to inform future planning
  • Maintain the events budget tracker and ensure supplier invoices are processed on time

Applicants must have end to end events experience (Planning & Execution). You will also have good marketing exposure e.g. copywriting skills for email and social content. Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM would be advantageous.

Katie Bard is acting as an agency and is an equal opportunities employer.
