Interim Project Lead - Navision - AP Automation - #2186121

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to deliver an Accounts Payable automation project within a Dynamics NAV (Navision) environment. The role will focus on automating invoice approvals, reducing manual processing and improving controls across the purchase-to-pay cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project from discovery through to go-live.
• Analyse current AP processes and establish baseline performance metrics.
• Define invoice matching rules, approval thresholds and exception workflows.
• Manage third-party developers and implementation partners.
• Oversee testing, pilot deployment and rollout.
• Ensure robust financial controls, audit compliance and segregation of duties.
• Deliver reporting on automation rates, efficiency gains and process improvements.
• Support stakeholder engagement and user adoption.

Essential

• Proven delivery of finance systems or automation projects.
• Strong Accounts Payable and P2P process knowledge.
• Experience with Dynamics NAV (Navision) and/or Business Central.
• Understanding of financial controls and governance.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Desirable

• OCR, invoice capture or workflow automation experience.
• Power Automate or Business Central integration knowledge.
