T2M Resourcing are supporting an ecommerce and distribution business to recruit a Head of Business Intelligence. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Head of Business Intelligence will lead a small team as well as drive the strategy and deliver business intelligence solutions.

This will be a multifaceted role that includes leadership, transformation, and hands-on deliver of reporting and dashboards.

Key duties of a Head of Business Intelligence:

• Generate a single source of truth for data and insights across the business.
• Manage and lead the BI team.
• Identify risks and opportunities.
• Complete data analysis from complex requests and produce insights.
• Engage with senior level stakeholders to understand and define reporting requirements.
• Act as part of the senior leadership team.
• Incorporate AI and machine learning into model building.
• Research and identify new tools and technologies for the BI function to utilise.
• Work closely with the IT and data engineering personnel.

Requirements to be successful as a Head of Business Intelligence:

• Degree or similar level qualification in Mathematics, Data Analysis, or similar.
• Strong database integration and data engineering knowledge including SQL, ETL, and Google BigQuery.
• Able to work with complex data from multiple sources.
• Ability to code with Python, R or similar.
• Commercially astute and understand the commercial impact of data analytics.
• Experience leading a data or business intelligence team.
• Visualisation skills using tools such as PowerBI for reporting and dashboards.

This will be a hybrid role with 3 days in the office expected.
