Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Birmingham?
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teacher of Maths to join a secondary school in Birmingham with an immediate start.

The position is initially expected to be for approximately 4 weeks, however there is strong potential for the role to be extended until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As the successful Maths Teacher, you will:

• Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
• Mark and assess pupils' work, providing appropriate feedback
• Complete reports and contribute to data collection
• Take responsibility for the full expectations of a classroom teacher
• Attend relevant meetings and parents' evenings
• Contribute to duties and the wider day-to-day life of the school
• Maintain positive behaviour and a productive learning environment

The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a teacher who:

• Is confident teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Has strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• Can take responsibility for planning, marking and assessment
• Is committed to supporting pupils' progress and attainment
• Can integrate quickly into an established department
• Is available to start as soon as possible
