Become the Executive Assistant to the CEO, as an AI-native Graduate Intern, at the frontier of AI
A unique chance to get into AI and learn what it’s like growing a global AI startup.
Great leaders don’t need more data. They need answers they can trust. Unloq gives them exactly that, in seconds, so they can make better decisions with confidence. Already trusted by enterprise customers, we’re now helping leaders move from knowing what happened to knowing what to do next.
Come help build the next big AI company with us!
We’re looking for an exceptional graduate to join as Executive Assistant Intern to our Co-Founder and CEO, Dr Yiannis Maos MBE. You’ll run the office of the CEO, with Claude as your primary tool, keeping a fast-moving founder’s world organised, connected and moving forward.
It’s an internship on paper, but we want someone genuinely outstanding: an early-career operator with commercial instincts, polish and a hunger to learn. This is not an ordinary internship. We will help you accelerate up the career ladder with mentorship that is second to none.
Learn From a Recognised Leader
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with one of the UK’s most recognised entrepreneurial leaders. Yiannis was awarded an MBE by the King in 2023 for services to technology and received an Honorary Doctorate from Aston University in 2025. He has a consistent track record of scaling tech businesses, from helping grow Rant & Rave to its acquisition, to founding TechWM and building Birmingham Tech Week into the UK’s largest regional tech festival.
You’ll see first-hand how a founder builds relationships, wins customers, raises investment, leads a team and grows a company, and you’ll have a leader invested in helping you build a successful career in tech.
The Role
You’ll be the engine behind the office of the CEO, turning a busy schedule and loose briefs into organised, high-quality output.

- Using Claude to organise the office of the CEO and keep information, actions and documents easy to find
- Using AI to set up automation that streamlines communication and removes unnecessary administrative burdens
- Coordinating travel, logistics and expenses
Supporting growth

- Creating commercial assets with Claude, such as proposals, decks, case studies and sales collateral
- Supporting investor relations and fundraising activity, including investor updates, data room organisation and meeting prep
- Preparing board meeting packs, agendas, minutes and action tracking
- Researching prospects, partners, competitors and market trends to brief the CEO ahead of key conversations
Building relationships and profile
- Organising meetings between key stakeholders, partners, investors and customers, including prep and follow-ups
- Drafting communication across email, social media and internal comms channels
- Supporting the CEO’s speaking engagements, events, award entries and media opportunities
- Helping coordinate recruitment activity, team rituals and internal updates as we grow
You’ll take direction on priorities and own the execution, to a very high standard.
Who This Is For
- Business degree completed, ideally a Masters
- Confident with AI tools, especially Claude, or genuinely excited to become an expert fast
- An excellent communicator, in writing and in person, who can represent the CEO with partners, customers and investors

- Trustworthy and discreet. You’ll have access to confidential commercial, investor and team information and treat that as sacred.
- Proactive and resourceful. Given a goal, you find the path.
- Commercially curious, with an interest in sales, partnerships, investment and how startups grow
Nice to have: CRM or sales admin experience, social media content creation, event coordination, ClickUp, automation tools.
