I'm currently working with a leading national law firm looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join its established and highly regarded Birmingham team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Associate or experienced Corporate Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career, with greater responsibility, high-quality work and a clear pathway for progression.

The Opportunity

You'll join a large, collaborative national Corporate team, working closely with experienced Partners on a broad range of complex and high-value transactions.

The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of transactions, manage client relationships, supervise junior lawyers and play an active role in the continued development of the team.

The work will include:

• Mergers and acquisitions, including business disposals
• Private equity transactions and fundraisings
• Equity capital markets
• Joint ventures and shareholder arrangements
• Corporate reorganisations, demergers and restructuring
• Corporate governance and advisory work
• Due diligence and complex corporate transactions

Who Are We Looking For?

Ideally, you'll be a Corporate Solicitor with 6+ years' PQE, gained within a reputable regional, national or international practice.

You'll have:

• Strong experience advising on a broad range of corporate transactions
• The confidence to lead matters and manage client relationships independently
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers, or an interest in developing these skills
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• A collaborative approach and ambition to progress your career
