OT Project Manager - Factory/ Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Portfolio Delivery team, leading the successful delivery of Operational Technology (OT) and factory technology projects across a complex manufacturing environment. This role will act as the key link between technology teams, engineering, manufacturing operations, site stakeholders and specialist suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to production.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving technology change across factory systems, control environments, production equipment and supporting infrastructure, while also supporting wider portfolio initiatives as required.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead Operational Technology and factory technology projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues and key dependencies.
• Coordinate activities across IT, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Network teams.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with production schedules, engineering constraints and site access requirements.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and transition activities within live manufacturing environments.
• Manage dependencies across factory equipment, control systems, applications, servers, networks and supporting infrastructure.
• Coordinate third-party suppliers, OEMs, system integrators and internal engineering resources.
• Develop implementation, rollback and contingency plans for production-impacting changes.
• Ensure appropriate consideration is given to operational resilience, cyber security, safety and production continuity.
• Provide regular project reporting, governance updates and escalations to senior stakeholders.
• Support the development of longer-term Operational Technology roadmaps and investment strategies.
• Drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Skills required:

• Proven Project Management experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial or technology-led environments.
• Experience delivering Operational Technology (OT), factory systems, industrial technology or production equipment projects.
• Strong understanding of the differences between IT and OT environments.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across business and technical functions.
• Knowledge of production-critical change management and operational resilience principles.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, engineering teams and external vendors.
• Strong project planning, risk management and governance capabilities.
• Experience working within live operational or manufacturing environments where downtime must be minimised.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Understanding of industrial cyber security considerations would be advantageous.
• Relevant Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent) are beneficial.
