An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and technically strong Commercial Disputes Solicitor to join a highly regarded Birmingham-based law firm at Senior Associate level.

This role is ideal for a solicitor with 9+ years' PQE and a strong background in Professional Negligence and Commercial Litigation, looking to take the next step towards Partnership within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the disputes practice, with a genuine opportunity to progress into a Salaried Partner position in the future.

The Role

You will manage a diverse caseload of complex and high-value disputes, including:

• Professional negligence claims against solicitors, accountants, surveyors, architects and other professionals
• Commercial contract disputes
• Breach of contract claims
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Business and corporate litigation
• High-value commercial claims
• Mediation, settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution

The firm is particularly interested in speaking with individuals who can bring an existing network, client following, or strong business development capabilities.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 9+ years' PQE
• Proven experience in Professional Negligence and Commercial Litigation
• Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
• Excellent client management and relationship-building skills
• Experience handling complex and high-value disputes
• Demonstrable business development experience and have a following
• Ambition to progress into a leadership and partnership position
