Programme Manager - Birmingham, Hybrid - £90,000

We're looking for IT Programme Manager to oversee a portfolio of technology and transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on AI and Agentic AI programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate multiple technology and transformation projects across their full lifecycle.
• Manage programme governance, budgets, timelines, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs and status reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, senior business stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Oversee solution delivery from design through testing, deployment and service transition.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers and Business Analysts, creating a high-performing delivery environment.
• Support business change activities to ensure successful adoption of new solutions.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience as a Programme Manager and/or Portfolio Manager delivering complex IT projects.
• Demonstrable experience delivering AI and Agentic AI initiatives end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, application delivery and infrastructure change.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong supplier and stakeholder management experience, including outsourced providers.
• Previous experience leading and managing teams of permanent and contract professionals.
• Prince2, APM Practitioner or equivalent certification.
• Previous experience within professional services environments would be advantageous.
