Finance Manager - Part Time - #2176750

A part‑time UK Finance Manager is required to take ownership of day‑to‑day financial operations for UK legal entities. This is a hands‑on, suited to a qualified finance professional seeking flexibility while maintaining strong control over core accounting and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the UK general ledger and oversee all bookkeeping activities
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses and payment runs
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances
• Prepare month‑end journals and produce monthly management accounts
• Provide cashflow summaries and short‑term forecasts
• Support group reporting with accurate month‑end information
• Ensure VAT returns and statutory filings are completed on time
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors
• Act as the main finance contact for UK stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes and systems

Key Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong hands‑on UK accounting and month‑end experience
• Solid understanding of VAT and UK statutory requirements
• Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, NetSuite or similar
• Comfortable working independently in a part‑time, remote role
• Experience in a multi‑entity or group reporting environment preferred
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and reliable communicator

24 hour working week - £60K - £65K, FTE.
