The opportunity
A multi-award-winning compliance consultancy is growing its water department and needs a Senior Water Hygiene Engineer to strengthen the team. It's a small, supportive setup where your experience will make a real difference.
What's included
- £32,000 - £42,000 salary, depending on experience
- Company van and mobile
- Overnight accommodation and expenses paid
- 28 days off a year, rising with length of service

Your responsibilities as a Senior Water Hygiene Engineer
- Completing Legionella risk assessments and system schematics
- Large-scale disinfections, including mains injection work
- TMV servicing and fail-safe testing
- Temperature monitoring, sampling and tank inspections
- Hot water vessel drain purges
- Remedial plumbing like dead leg removals (desirable)
The ideal candidate
- An experienced water hygiene engineer with Legionella risk assessment experience
- Happy to take on any task, from routine checks to specialist work
- Based in or around Birmingham, with flexibility to travel across the UK
- Available for a couple of overnight stays per month
- Full UK driving licence and able to obtain an enhanced DBS
