Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract with Potential Extension

Rate: Competitive Market Rate

Working Pattern: Predominantly Remote, with attendance at the Birmingham office approximately once every two weeks and occasional additional travel as required by the programme.

The Opportunity

We are supporting a major UK infrastructure programme in the search for a BIM Manager to join a client-side digital engineering function.

This is a coordination-focused role supporting a portfolio of 14+ active projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, Senior BIM Coordinators, Information Managers, Document Controllers, and Programme stakeholders to ensure BIM processes, model coordination activities, and Common Data Environment (CDE) operations are delivered consistently across the programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM professional who enjoys stakeholder engagement, coordination, governance, and BIM delivery oversight rather than hands-on modelling production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day BIM coordination activities across multiple infrastructure projects
  • Assist with the administration and management of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Coordinate with project BIM teams and delivery partners to support programme-wide consistency
  • Participate in model review and clash detection sessions using Navisworks and ACC Model Coordination
  • Monitor compliance against BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Employer's Information Requirements (EIRs), and programme standards
  • Support model federation reviews and coordination activities
  • Track actions, issues, and project progress across the portfolio
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and KPI updates for programme stakeholders
  • Support BIM Working Group meetings, including agenda preparation, action tracking, and follow-up activities
  • Collaborate with Information Management and Digital Engineering teams to drive effective project delivery
What We're Looking For

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in BIM coordination, BIM management, digital engineering, information management, or related disciplines.

Essential Experience
  • Experience working as a BIM Manager, BIM Coordinator, Senior BIM Coordinator, Digital Engineering Coordinator, or similar
  • Practical experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Experience facilitating model coordination and clash detection activities
  • Knowledge of Navisworks and Revit within a BIM delivery environment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience reviewing BIM deliverables and supporting compliance activities
  • Comfortable operating within complex infrastructure or construction environments
Desirable Experience
  • Client-side or programme-level BIM experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 information management principles
  • Experience supporting Common Data Environments (CDEs)
  • Exposure to major infrastructure, utilities, energy, transportation, engineering, or construction programmes
  • Understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), EIRs, MIDPs, and information management processes
Working Arrangements
  • Predominantly remote working
  • Occasional travel to Birmingham and other programme locations as required
  • Typically onsite approximately once per fortnight, subject to business needs
  • Reasonable travel expenses may be reimbursed in line with project policy
Why Apply?

This role offers the opportunity to work within a large-scale infrastructure programme, supporting multiple high-profile projects while influencing BIM coordination, digital delivery, and information management best practices across the wider portfolio.
