Job Title: Internal Sales Representative - Construction Industry

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Representative to join a well-established and growing construction materials supplier. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with timber industry experience who is looking to join a business with a strong reputation, quality product offering and loyal customer base.

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have experience selling timber, cladding, sheet materials, construction products or related building materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound customer enquiries and convert opportunities into sales.
• Prepare quotations and follow up to maximise order conversion.
• Provide technical and product guidance on timber and cladding solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, merchants and end users.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and develop existing accounts.
• Process orders accurately and ensure a high level of customer service.
• Work closely with colleagues across sales, operations and customer service teams.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company's product range and market sectors.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience within the construction materials or related industries.
• Knowledge of exterior building materials.
• Internal sales, trade sales, account management or customer-facing sales experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and prioritise workload effectively.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
