Role Description: The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Birmingham. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, workflow planning, and ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction. This role includes managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive growth and efficiency. The General Manager will coordinate with contractors and partners, ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, and resolve operational issues promptly. The role also involves setting performance targets, coaching team members, and implementing process improvements to maintain a high-performing, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• Operational management skills, including experience overseeing daily business activities, staff workflows, and service delivery.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with experience in team supervision, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and basic financial reporting to support sustainable growth.
• Customer service and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and handle escalations professionally.
• Planning and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organisation.
• Comfort with using standard office software and business systems; familiarity with basic data analysis is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a general management, management, or similar leadership role; experience within the UK market is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Birmingham, with strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
