The business is looking to recruit a Senior Assistant Management Accountant to strengthen its finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll play an important part in the month-end process, management reporting and financial analysis, while gaining greater involvement in the wider business. This role would suit someone who has built a solid foundation in management accounting and is ready to take on more responsibility, with a clear route towards becoming a Management Accountant.

• Good experience supporting month-end and preparing management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and financial reporting.

• Confident communicator who can build relationships with colleagues outside finance and contribute to discussions around business performance.

• Strong Excel skills, including building formulas from scratch, alongside experience using Power BI to analyse and present financial data.

• Property development experience would be beneficial, as the business is looking to diversify its product offering and explore new opportunities.

• A clear progression route into a Management Accountant position, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility for month-end and management accounts as you develop.
