- Plan and implement controlled network changes, maintaining accurate configurations, architecture diagrams, procedures, and audit trails.
- Automate network operations and configuration validation using APIs, Python, PowerShell, and other relevant tools.
- Manage network security and technology lifecycles, including secure configurations, firmware updates, vulnerability remediation, and technology obsolescence.
- Collaborate with international technology teams and manage technical escalations involving network and security suppliers.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Arista, and Ubiquiti networking hardware and management platforms.
- Expertise in cloud-based network security and application delivery, including WAF, DDoS protection, load balancing, and traffic management solutions such as Cloudflare.
- Practical experience managing network infrastructure using Terraform, including reusable modules, remote state, change reviews, and configuration-drift management.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewall policies, VLANs, and network segmentation.
- Proven experience implementing and managing SD-WAN solutions.
- Working knowledge of SSE/SASE and zero-trust security platforms, such as Netskope, Zscaler, or Prisma Access.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure networking, including VPCs, VNets, transit gateways, peering, and VPN connectivity.
- Knowledge of network security controls and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Experience supporting business-critical or 24/7 operational environments with defined availability and service-level objectives.
- Familiarity with network monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting tools such as Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, NetFlow, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience working with telecommunications providers, cloud vendors, and managed service partners.
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
