The Facilities Operations Supervisor at UHB Facilities Ltd (UHBF) is a hands-on, non-technical operational role focused on the day-to-day coordination of facilities support services. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the postholder oversees three core areas: the facilities helpdesk, routine administration, and the stores team.

The primary purpose of the position is to provide structure, organization, and responsiveness to the facilities support operations across UHBF sites. Crucially, this role does not manage technical maintenance or engineering staff, which falls under Hard Services. Instead, it ensures that jobs are accurately logged, tracked, and closed, while compliance data and material stock levels are meticulously maintained.

• All facilities requests are logged, routed to the correct teams, proactively monitored, and closed out with comprehensive records.

• Outstanding tasks, overdue jobs, and system administrative actions are highly visible, actively chased down, and escalated before they can drift.

• The stores team understands their daily priorities, and inventory control processes are kept precise and compliant with health and safety.

• Communication between the helpdesk, stores, and the hard services engineering team is seamless and constructive.

• The FM Manager is kept clearly informed of daily workloads, emerging service trends, and critical issues that require senior decision making.

Requirements

Driving Licence essential

Team Supervision: Experience supporting or supervising colleagues, allocating daily work, or taking operational responsibility for a team or process.

Helpdesk: Prior experience managing a facilities helpdesk (CAFM)
