We are delighted to be partnering with a growing and well-established business based in East Birmingham in the recruitment of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly and supportive finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking to develop their career within a stable and expanding organisation.

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Assisting with sales invoice processing
• Managing and maintaining both the Purchase and Sales Ledgers
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
• Updating and maintaining financial spreadsheets and records
• Supporting the wider finance team with general accounting duties
• Assisting with payroll administration where required (desirable but not essential)
• Using Sage accounting software (experience advantageous but not essential)

• Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data
• A positive, team-focused approach
• Experience with Sage and payroll would be beneficial, but full training can be provided
