ER Advisor - #2165443

Our client, an education provider based in Birmingham, are currently recruiting for an ER Advisor to join on a temporary contract for three months with the possibility of going permanent. The rate is circa £22 per hour via an Umbrella company and includes 1 day working from home a week, with the rest based on site in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting with employee relations casework, will need an enhanced DBS check and ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified.

Duties will include:

• Managing a varied employee relations caseload from initial query through to resolution, identifying and escalating complex or high-risk cases where appropriate
• Building effective working relationships with managers and employees across the organisation and advising and coaching on disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability matters
• Supporting short and long-term absence cases and advising on appropriate next steps
• Ensuring casework is handled fairly, consistently and in line with policy and employment legislation
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, correspondence and supporting documentation

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
