• Pay rate to Umbrella: £please contact directly for full day rates.

• IR35: In Scope

• Security Clearance: BPSS

• Contract Length: Until end of March 2027 – there is likely to be scope to extend

• CV Deadline: 16/10 @ 12pm

• Interview Process: Teams interviews

• Location: BIRMINGHAM min 3 days per week on site (would also look at candidates London based to travel but note no further scope to increase the rate for London candidates)

Essential Criteria:

1. Experience of data modelling tools

2. Experience working in complex organisations - Public sector/government/constructions/finance/telecoms with large complex amounts of data (does not have to be pub sector)

3. Need to have experience of the conceptual understanding of data modelling. They are not looking for a data engineer or full stack data architects

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience with Sparks enterprise architecture.

Role details:

The role will be looking at 3 things:

• 1st initiative is refresh of documenting data models that they have for enterprise data warehouse, parts of these are very out of data. They can use reverse engineering tools but needs to be redocumented with fresh diagrams and version control processes and how to guides sent to people that use SPARKS enterprise architect.

• 2nd is data cataloguing working with data category management looking at data architect documenting in excel and documenting where it flows to in terms applications in Sparks or Orbus iserver (tbc on which yet)

• 3rd is supporting other projects which will need conceptual data models and then smaller entity relationship modelling and assurance of physical and logical data.
