My client is looking for a Technical Trainer to deliver engaging training programmes that support both the business and its franchised retailers, helping ensure technicians remain up to date with the latest products, systems and diagnostic procedures.

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys hands-on teaching, presenting to audiences and helping others develop their skills. For someone looking to represent a major automotive brand and have a direct impact on dealer performance, this is an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical training programmes across the dealer network, ensuring delegates receive engaging and high-quality learning experiences.

  • Provide technical expertise to internal departments and act as a subject matter expert across aftersales activities.
  • Help maintain training equipment, workshop facilities and diagnostic tools to ensure effective course delivery.
  • Support the development and delivery of new product, technical and Aftersales training programmes.
  • Work closely with engineering, diagnostics and technical teams to keep training content accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with dealer development initiatives and contribute to continuous improvements across the training function.
  • Support training activities across the UK and internationally when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience delivering automotive technical training within an OEM, dealer group or automotive training environment.
  • Strong understanding of automotive diagnostic processes, systems and aftersales operations.
  • IMI High Voltage Level 3 qualification as a minimum, with Level 4 being advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences of varying technical abilities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with departments including Technical Support,
  • Warranty, Parts, Customer Service and Engineering.
  • Well-organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and overseas when required.
  • Professional, confident and capable of representing the brand to dealer partners and stakeholders.
