We're working with a successful and growing business looking for an ambitious HR & Payroll Assistant to join their busy HR team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves variety, enjoys supporting people, and wants hands-on exposure across HR, payroll, recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and training.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting weekly payroll and resolving payroll queries
- Managing HR administration and employee records
- Coordinating recruitment, interviews and onboarding
- Supporting employee relations and absence management processes
- Organising training and maintaining learning records
- Providing first-line HR support to managers and employees
- Getting involved in HR projects and employee engagement initiatives
- Previous HR Administration, HR Assistant or HR & Payroll experience
- Payroll exposure, ideally using Sage 50 Payroll or a similar system
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or studying towards it
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
