I am interested in candidates who already have some land referencing or land assembly experience, but I am equally keen to hear from graduates with a relevant background in areas such as Geography, GIS, spatial data or land/property who can demonstrate a genuine interest in this area.
The role will support the assurance of land referencing and land assembly activity across a major infrastructure programme. You will work with land and spatial data, support workshops, liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and help ensure information is accurate, complete and delivered to programme.

Essential Requirements:

·Confidence working with maps, spatial information and detailed datasets
·Good organisation and attention to detail
·Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
·Ability to manage actions, chase information and work to deadlines
·A proactive, driven approach and genuine interest in developing within land and property

Particularly relevant backgrounds
·Land referencing or land assembly experience
·Geography, GIS, spatial data or other relevant degree
·Land/property or infrastructure-related experience
·Experience working with GIS, mapping or Land Registry information
·Exposure to compulsory purchase, land rights, easements or utilities

What will you be doing?
·Supporting land assembly and land referencing activities across the programme
·Reviewing and assuring land referencing information provided by the supply chain
·Working with mapping, spatial and land ownership data to understand ownership, occupation and land requirements
·Supporting activity relating to land rights, easements, temporary land acquisition and utility diversions
·Assisting with compulsory purchase and conveyancing-related processes and notices
·Coordinating workshops, recording actions and ensuring these are progressed
·Liaising with multiple stakeholders and suppliers to obtain information and updates
·Checking and maintaining accurate data and records
·Supporting future land referencing requirements across the wider programme
·Managing priorities and deadlines within a busy project environment

Previous industry experience is not essential if you can demonstrate relevant transferable skills and a good understanding of what land referencing and land assembly involve.
This is an excellent development opportunity, with previous assistants progressing into more senior positions within the team.
