SEND Teaching Assistants RequiredFull-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available - Alvechurch

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with SEND? We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive middle school seeking multiple Teaching Assistants to join their team on both full-time and part-time basis.

The Role

You will be supporting pupils across Years 5 to 8, working closely with teaching staff to help students access learning and achieve their full potential. The roles will involve supporting students with a range of additional needs, both within the classroom and through targeted interventions.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support
• Supporting pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
• Encouraging student engagement, confidence and independence
• Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
• Adapting resources and learning activities to meet individual needs
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and external professionals where required

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience in a school, alternative provision, youth work or support setting
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to support pupils with a range of needs and abilities
• A genuine passion for making a positive difference to young people's lives
