Are you an experienced clinician with a background in adult autism assessment?
We are working with an established healthcare provider looking for an Adult ASD Assessor to join their clinical team and support high-quality autism assessments for adults.
The Role You will be part of a multidisciplinary service, working with individuals and other professionals to build a clear understanding of each person’s presentation and reach evidence-based outcomes.

We are working with an established healthcare provider looking for an Adult ASD Assessor to join their clinical team and support high-quality autism assessments for adults.
The Role You will be part of a multidisciplinary service, working with individuals and other professionals to build a clear understanding of each person’s presentation and reach evidence-based outcomes.
The role will include:
- Completing structured autism assessments for adults.
- Gathering relevant developmental, clinical and background information.
- Reviewing developmental history and other supporting information.
- Working with the wider MDT to support diagnostic decisions.
- Writing clear, professional and neurodiversity-affirming reports.
- Discussing assessment outcomes with individuals in a sensitive and accessible way.
- Current NMC, HCPC or another relevant professional registration.
- Experience working within neurodevelopmental, mental health or adult autism services.
- Experience contributing to or completing autism assessments for adults.
- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work confidently within a structured assessment pathway.
- £47,000 – £55,000 salary
- NHS-aligned pension
