Business Analyst - #2155905

For one of our leading financial services clients, we are searching for an experienced Technical Business Analyst / Technical BA-PM to support a number of complex data and process transformation initiatives within their Wealth Management division. You will work closely with business and engineering stakeholders, helping drive delivery across highly technical programmes involving data platforms, controls automation and process transformation.

Role Responsibilities
• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements across complex transformation programmes
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand data flows, source systems and platform architecture
• Analyse and map data lineage from multiple source systems through data lakes and downstream control platforms
• Develop a deep understanding of complex data models and business processes across the organisation
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, define solutions and align delivery priorities
• Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for developers, data engineers and architects
• Support the delivery of automated controls, data governance and process automation initiatives
• Review, interpret and challenge technical designs, code logic and complex calculation methodologies where required
• Manage project deliverables, risks, dependencies and stakeholder communications throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Partner with business and technology teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and operational requirements

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Technical BA/Project Manager within complex enterprise environments
• Strong background in Financial Services, Investment Banking, Wealth Management or Capital Markets environments
• Extensive experience working on data-driven transformation programmes
• Strong data analysis, data mapping and data lineage experience across multiple source systems
• Ability to quickly understand complex data models and system architectures
• Experience working closely with Engineering, Architecture and Business stakeholders
• Comfortable reading, interpreting and discussing code and technical implementations
• Strong understanding of process automation, controls frameworks and operational improvement initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and communication skills
• Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, high-performance environments with demanding delivery standards
• Experience managing project delivery responsibilities alongside business analysis activities is highly desirable

Role Details
• Location: Birmingham (5 days per week onsite)
• Contract Length: Initial term through June 2027 with potential extension
• Permanent Option: 12-month FTC with potential permanent conversion
• Start Date: ASAP
