Our client, a well-established and highly respected accountancy and business advisory firm, is looking for an Audit Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced audit professional to step into a strategic leadership role, driving departmental performance, developing high-performing teams, and playing a key part in the future growth of the business. The role also offers a clear progression path into a more senior leadership position.

• Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients across a diverse SME client base.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the audit function.
• Review and enhance existing systems, controls and processes.
• Coach, mentor and develop Audit Managers and junior team members.
• Support the ongoing professional development of the wider audit team.
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients, delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape the strategic direction of the department.
• Oversee audit planning, delivery and quality standards across engagements.
• Identify opportunities for growth, service improvement and enhanced client delivery.
• Contribute to succession planning and the long-term development of the practice.

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and team development skills.
• Demonstrable experience improving processes and driving efficiencies.
• Experience managing SME client portfolios.
