Role Details

• Location: Birmingham - Calthorpe Road

• Position: Inventory Clerk

• Duration: 3 months

• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Shift Pattern: Days, Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00

• Compensation: £13.53 per hour

Key Responsibilities This position is primarily warehouse and logistics based. A typical assignment includes:

• Completing daily cycle-count lists against assigned schedules.

• Physically locating and counting inventory. Verifying part numbers and storage locations.

• Recording physical count quantities. Performing second or recounts where differences are identified.

• Flagging discrepancies for investigation. Timely escalation of discrepancies is a key measure of performance.

• Checking stock-location accuracy. Identifying misplaced or incorrectly labelled inventory.

• Assisting with physical inventory and audit preparation. Supporting the Inventory team with routine inventory-control tasks and location-control activities.

The ideal candidate:

• Inventory counting experience is required

• The role may require standing and walking for extended periods

• You will be working in cold rooms requiring +2 to +8 degrees. Working in freezers at -20 degrees is also required.
