Hourly Rate: £13.53
Working Pattern: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Shift Options: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 or 07:30 - 16:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage your workload according to a published plan, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Oversee inventory management to guarantee materials are readily available for work assignments.
• Perform scheduled activities for designated equipment, areas, or functions, ensuring operational excellence.
• Conduct data and process-checking activities to maintain high standards.

• Utilise your troubleshooting skills to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Set and meet objectives, creating and adhering to deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

Education: GCSE level education or a relevant degree.

Experience:
- Essential: Prior experience in a laboratory environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with workload management and planning.

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Strong documentation, communication, and digital literacy skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) effectively.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Excel.
• Practical knowledge of units of measurement with basic mathematical skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understanding chemical hygiene protocols.
• Ability to handle solutions and chemicals safely.
• Must be able to lift objects up to 20 kilogrammes.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice, including weekends, to support departmental needs.
