Panel Wirer - #2145505

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Panel Wirer on behalf of a well-established manufacturer serving the Defence, Industrial, Aviation, Rail, Medical, Scientific, and Oil & Gas sectors.

Based at their Birmingham production facility, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of a range of electrical products, from lighting systems through to complex control and distribution panels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels and cabinets
• Point-to-point wiring and cable routing
• Crimping, terminating, and soldering cables and components
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and GA drawings
• Mechanical and electrical assembly work
• Working to high quality and safety standards
• Supporting testing and fault-finding activities where required

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in panel wiring or control panel assembly
• Experience with cable termination, crimping, and soldering
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience with point-to-point wiring and cable routing
• Ability to work independently and deliver work to specification

Desirable:

• IPC Class 3 / IPC 620 experience
• Prototype or development wiring experience
• Basic electrical testing experience

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00
• Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
