A Local Council is seeking an organised and creative Inclusion House Content Officer to support the ongoing development of an innovative digital platform designed to provide young people, parents, carers, and professionals with easy access to information, resources and support services.


Inclusion House is an exciting digital initiative that aims to become a central hub of information and guidance for local communities. With several sections already developed and further expansion planned, this role will play a key part in ensuring content is engaging, consistent, accessible and aligned with the overall vision of the platform.


Working closely with the platform's project lead and a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing, editing and maintaining content, ensuring a high-quality user experience across the site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organise content across the Inclusion House platform.
  • Edit and upload videos, presentations, graphics and other digital content provided by stakeholders.
  • Review and refine content to ensure clarity, accessibility and consistency of messaging.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the platform's branding and visual identity.
  • Work closely with project leads and stakeholders to ensure content aligns with organisational objectives.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks on all content before publication.
  • Ensure all material meets agreed standards, branding guidelines and content criteria.
  • Assist with workforce development, content and resource management across the platform.
  • Monitor content updates and ensure information remains accurate and relevant.
  • Liaise with contributors to coordinate content submissions and approvals.


About YouWe are looking for a creative and detail-oriented professional with experience managing digital content and supporting online platforms.


Essential Experience & Skills

  • Experience working with digital platforms, websites, intranets or online content management systems.
  • Strong content editing, proofreading and quality assurance skills.
  • Experience working with digital media, including video, graphics and visual content.
  • Understanding of branding, communications and content consistency.
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple content streams from a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience using content management systems and digital publishing tools.
  • Confident stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.


Desirable Experience

  • Experience within local government, education, SEND or community-focused services.
  • Knowledge of accessibility requirements for digital content.
  • Background in marketing, communications, digital media or content development.
  • Experience supporting workforce development, learning or information-sharing platforms.
