Technical Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation/Robotics - #2133577

Consulo are supporting an internationally established manufacturer of advanced automation and mechatronic technology in the appointment of a Technical Sales Engineer to develop their presence across the Midlands.

This is a business operating at the forefront of industrial automation, supplying high-performance technologies used within robotic handling, automated production, assembly, machine building and advanced manufacturing applications.

Their portfolio spans:

• Robotic grippers and gripping systems
• End-of-arm tooling (EOAT)
• Clamping and braking technology
• Linear motion and handling systems
• Machine tooling and automation components
• Application-engineered mechatronic solutions

The Role

This is a technically led, customer-facing sales position working with OEMs, machine builders, system integrators and manufacturing organisations across the Midlands.

You will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing strategic accounts and identifying automation applications where the company's technology can improve productivity, reliability, precision and machine performance.

The role will involve working directly with engineers, designers, technical managers and decision-makers, understanding their application requirements and developing commercially viable technical solutions.

We are particularly interested in speaking with ambitious Technical Sales Engineers, Sales Engineers, Area Sales Managers and Business Development Managers currently working within:

• Industrial Automation
