Field Service Engineer (Training into Controls)

Field-Based, UK wide role, Commutable from Birmingham, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Chesterfield, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Rotherham and surrounding areas


Are you a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer background looking for a role which offers specialist OEM training on PLC's where you can develop yourself as a technical expert and be develop yourself into a leading Controls Engineer all whilst increasing your earnings through door to door overtime and no call outs?

This genuinely is a rare and exciting opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise on complex systems and projects for one of Europe's Largest Manufacturers where you can progress your career into Senior Leadership roles and dramatically boost earnings through premium-paid overtime, Door to Door pay and an excellent car-allowance.

This multinational company are industry giants within FMCG, distributing high-end packaging equipment for major clients worldwide. They work alongside globally dominating manufacturers, such as Coca-Cola and Molson Coors. My client will heavily invest into your career development through technical training, career progression and excellent overtime rates. Due to the growth of the company and internal promotions, they are looking for a technical expert to cover some of their most prestigious clients across the North and Ireland.

This role would suit anyone with Electro-Mechanical experience within FMCG that is looking for a Field-Based role where they can be trained on PLC programming for specialist machinery, with the opportunity to progress and dramatically boost earnings.

The role:

*Electro-Mechanical servicing and maintenance on a variety of different automated packaging machinery
*PLC Fault finding using Siemens S7
*Days-based, Monday - Friday, with occasional stayaways each week.

The Person:

*Electrical and Mechanical experience on Production Lines or Plant Machinery
*Understanding of PLC's and Wants training on Programming Siemens PLC
*Flexible to travel UK wide & stay away when required
