We are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, growing business on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and providing meaningful financial insight to support business performance.

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will take ownership of the management accounts process, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across financial reporting and controls.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting commentary.
• Production of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports.
• Month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances.
• Support budget and forecasting processes across multiple departments.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insight to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor key business metrics, profitability and margin performance.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting.
• Partner with operational teams to support decision-making and cost control.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Support year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting, analysis and finance projects.

• Part-qualified, studying, or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role.
• Strong month-end and management accounts experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders across the business.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Experience of working within a high-volume transactional environment.
• Exposure to stock, inventory or product-based businesses.
• Experience using ERP systems and BI reporting tools.
• Previous involvement in process improvement initiatives
