Maintenance Electrician - #2112177

Looking for a mobile Electrician to join our team, delivering high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and repair services across domestic, commercial, and social housing environments.

Location: Birmingham

Hours: 8 AM to 4.30 PM

Salary: £24 PH (PAYE option £14.00 - £20.97 PH)

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works within domestic, commercial, and social housing properties.
• Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and provide accurate certification.
• Perform inspection and testing of electrical systems in accordance with current regulations.
• Undertake full and partial rewires as required.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
• Complete remedial works identified through inspections and testing.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and all relevant health and safety legislation.
• Maintain accurate job records, certification, and documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with tenants, clients, and stakeholders.
• Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.

Essential Qualifications

• Level 2 Electrical Installation Qualification.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
• Gold JIB Card.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in domestic, commercial, and social housing electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, inspection, and fault finding.
• Experience carrying out EICRs and producing compliant certification.
• Competent in undertaking rewires and remedial works.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
