Financial Accountant - #2095791

We’re seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join an established organisation on a temporary basis, based In the Birmingham City area.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant Role include:

• Supporting period-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
• Completing key balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting statutory reporting and audit processes
• Ensuring compliance with relevant VAT regulations
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation

To be considered for the Financial Accountant Role you should have:

• Relevant professional qualification (can be either full or part-qualified)
• Strong financial accounting experience within a complex environment
• Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
• Strong attention to detail and stakeholder engagement skills
