PowerBI Developer - #2093194

Our client, an established catering and food service company, is currently recruiting a PowerBI Developer to join their PowerBI Development team. The PowerBI Developer will be responsible for end-to-end Power BI development, complex DAX, star-schema modeling, and Power Platform workflows using SQL and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities for the PowerBI Developer:

• Designing and developing Power BI solutions (semantic models, reports, and dashboards - that serve real business needs across multiple areas of the organisation)
• Writing complex DAX, building star schema data models, and optimising solutions for performance and usability
• Managing your own projects end-to-end, from requirements and scoping through to deployment and support
• Using deployment pipelines and version control to manage environments and releases properly
• Building Power Apps and Power Automate flows that extend Power BI into practical business workflows

Skills Required for the PowerBI Developer:

• Solid proven background in PowerBI Development and Data Bricks
• Strong DAX skills, including time intelligence and advanced calculations that go beyond the basics)
• Solid understanding of data modelling (star schemas, dimensional design, and how to build models that perform at scale
• Experience with Power Query (M) and SQL for data transformation and preparation
• Working knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate for building integrated platform solutions
• Strong communication skills
